Rene Czerkasij is an occupational therapist who is passionate about helping seniors remain in their own homes. Driving to five counties for home-rehabilitation visits keeps her on the road. She loves it when her patients share their favorite collections, garden produce and family photos. She’s been known to stop at every yard sale that has a shower chair or bedside commode. Her latest passion is to advocate for seniors with low vision. She’s married to a man from Ukraine and is raising two teenage sons.
