What is Companion Care?
Companion care is a non-medical service aimed at enriching the lives of seniors through social interaction and practical assistance. It addresses the emotional and social needs of older adults by providing companionship, reducing loneliness, and enhancing overall well-being.
In addition to fostering meaningful connections, companion care supports daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands. These services enable seniors to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes.
Unlike medical care, companion care does not involve clinical procedures or treatments. Instead, it focuses on creating a nurturing environment where seniors feel valued and supported. This holistic approach improves mental, emotional, and physical quality of life.
