We Serve:

Owners Committed to Your Family

Morgan Peters

I’m a mother who understands the importance of selfless service and family. My husband Joseph and I always wanted to start our own business, but we thought it would come later in life. When we discovered Preferred Care at Home, we were immediately intrigued by the opportunity to build financial freedom and security while maintaining the flexibility to spend time with our children and watch them grow up.

My grandparents have been some of the most influential people in my life, demonstrating empathy, love, and selfless service. They instilled in me the value of always being willing to drop everything to serve others. Being able to serve their generation while providing peace of mind and comfort to families is something I’ll never take for granted. Being a mother has taught me how to serve my family selflessly. It may not be easy all the time, but when you have the opportunity to take care of those you love, nothing is more rewarding.

Joseph Peters

I bring nearly a decade of experience in improving others’ lives through healthcare. I joined the military in 2018 as a combat medic, helping soldiers in emergency settings and rehabilitating them through injuries over long periods. While I excelled at treating fellow soldiers, I discovered my true passion was in clinical medicine rather than emergency environments.

I became a licensed radiologic technologist, helping diagnose seniors in emergency departments and working at the #1 pediatric orthopedic hospital in the United States. In 2025, when Morgan was approached with the opportunity to provide home care for seniors, I couldn’t think of anything I wanted more than to join her on this journey. Together, we’re improving the quality of seniors’ lives in Denton, safeguarding their independence and dignity by sending the very best caregivers to their homes.

Drew White

My commitment to senior care is deeply personal. My grandfather, a man who embodied love, gentleness, and care in our family, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. I remember the day my mother explained that he had given up his driver’s license after a minor car accident. Suddenly, the superhero grandfather who used to take me for ice cream could no longer have a conversation with me.

When my grandmother had no choice but to place him in a memory care unit, I witnessed something that changed me forever. I saw a shell of the man I loved dearly. His dignity had been stripped away, his independence was gone, and I watched staff treat him without respect as an individual. My grandpa, the man I was named after, deserved better. Now I help ensure seniors in our community get the care they deserve in their own homes, with their dignity intact.
