Ethan Guerrieri

Director of Long Term Care

Bio
I was born into senior care, ever since I can remember my family was involved with serving the elderly.  However before I jumped into Senior Home care I was a youth pastor at a local church here in palm beach.  It was a great experience, the transition into senior home care was very smooth.  I always knew this is where I would end up I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to serve the ones who once served me.

Hobbies
I’m a sportsaholic. I love playing sports and watching sports. I’m a Miami fan Through thick and thin, I will add though I love My Tennessee Vols above all. I have played just about every sport competitively.

What do you like about your job
I wake up everyone morning with the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. There’s not many things in life more rewarding than that. I also work with the best team in all of health care. We are a very tight knit group.

Having the ability to allow a family member who is the caregiver currently become that Husband/Wife, or a child become that daughter/ son again. There is not many things in this world that’s more rewarding than that.

Bio
My past work experience has consisted of customer service and care taking for children. These two experiences have helped me grow with Preferred Care at Home. My experience with customer service has enhanced my ability to guide others the best way I can when reaching out to our team. In the past, being a caregiver myself has given me the guidance I need when recruiting and meeting caregivers for our company.

Hobbies
Spending time at the beach and sketching

Frankie Guerrieri

Director of Human Resources

Bio
My family started this company, and ever since I can remember, I have seen their passion for senior care. Still, despite growing up in-and-around home care, my part in it was never a foregone conclusion. But the older I got, the more I saw myself being drawn to senior care. At this point, it no longer feels like a job to me, it has become a part of who I am. Here, I get to care for those who need it most — to show them Christ’s love.

Hobbies
On my down time, I sing and play the guitar. Occasionally, I play tennis, something I did a lot of as a kid back when I played competitively in tournaments.

What do you like about your job
I am truly blessed for the opportunity to make a difference and to be a light in my community. It brings me great joy to connect our clients and their families to the perfect professional caregiver, ensuring a life full of dignity, independence, and happiness.

Wayland Lee

Director of Long Term Care

Bio
Born to two Hong Kong immigrants in San Francisco, California, I am a first generation Asian-American. It wasn’t long until my family relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I spent my first memories, school experiences, friends, and acquired my fluency in Spanish. At 10 years old we moved back to the States in Florida, where I would meet the Guerrieries playing tennis with Frankie and Ethan at the Evert Tennis Academy. I’ve now been surrounded by the Preferred family for over half my life, and it is an honor to serve those in need alongside a dedicated and caring team.

Hobbies
I still play, and sometimes teach, tennis. I also enjoy playing basketball, working out, long walks on the beach, and time alone with just me and my guitar.

What do you like about your job
I have a background of at least 6 years of customer service/hospitality experience. I’ve always been passionate about helping and serving people. Working for Preferred Care at Home, I know what I do can make a great, positive impact in the lives of those in need.

Ethan and I got a call for someone in need of care at a skilled nursing facility. It was for an elderly woman who has been falling repeatedly and began showing signs of dementia. I remember meeting her and seeing her cry uncontrollably, the only words she would let out were, “I love my husband so much, please don’t take him away from me.” We started care immediately, got a caregiver at the facility within two hours and watched the magic happen. I went back with Ethan just two days later to visit, and this woman was a completely different person. She was smiling, laughing, and we bonded over a pack of colorful, funky socks that her daughter bought her. I couldn’t believe my eyes.
