It doesn\u2019t pay, according to the\u00a0<em>Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services,<\/em>\u00a0for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>24-hour-a-day care at home<\/li>\n<li>Meals delivered to your home<\/li>\n<li>Homemaker services like shopping, cleaning, and laundry when this is the only care you need, and when these services aren\u2019t related to your plan of care<\/li>\n<li>Personal care given by home health aides like bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom when this is the only care needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>(Medicare doesn\u2019t cover home health aide services unless you are also getting skilled care such as nursing care or other therapy from the home health agency. The home health aide services must be part of the care for your illness or injury.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At Preferred Care at Home we, come along side one\u2019s Medicare benefit or in the absence of that benefit, to assist those in maintaining their independence in their home.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Medicare is simply a\u00a0Federally funded health Insurance plan for individuals over age 65.
