If you&#8217;ve never been to a senior center, you might be turned off by the sound of the word: it sounds a bit old-fashioned, after all. But don&#8217;t mistake your local senior center for a bingo hall! Okay, sure, there probably is bingo; but among other things, the new breed of senior centers offer much more than that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Craft workshops to sharpen your coordination skills and learn something new.<\/li>\n<li>Adventure groups to take you on trips with other seniors in your area.<\/li>\n<li>Technology classes to keep you up-to-date with your grandson&#8217;s latest toys.<\/li>\n<li>Social events like dances, live music, and dating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And did we mention cards? Yes, you can still go to the senior center and play a round of cards. You can still go to the senior center and shout BINGO!
