Why Should I Become a part of the Preferred Care at Home Family of Franchise Owners

Part 3: Training Today, Training Tomorrow

As important as the initial training is to launching a new franchisee into the world of senior home care, the ongoing continual training and education is equally vital. The initial on-site training can be an overwhelming experience for many as there is so much to absorb. We understand, and view the formal training classes as a time to understand the heart of the matter. We are prepared to spend hundreds of hours building new franchise owners with industry specific information while guiding their understanding systematically.

Although many successful business owners have the expertise to operate a business, most need to develop the heart and mind to operate a senior home care business. We discuss the concepts and principles of a home care business, and the issues of the heart that separates us from the rest.

After training classes, the journey really just begins. Every franchise owner receives an additional 90 hours of training annually in the form of live semi-weekly online collaborative meetings. During these semi-weekly training sessions, we will keep you on track, motivated, and fueled with new ideas. Topics range from:
• how to recruit and retain quality caregivers,
• client relations,
• marketing tips and techniques that I have personally found to work, no matter the competition, and
• how to secure business on the phone.

Next, we will discuss how our mentorship programs sets the franchise owner in motion.

Your questions and comments are welcomed as we continue to tackle these all-important topics.
