As the old saying goes “There’s no place like home”. This saying is more true today than ever before and has become the cornerstone of what we passionately do every day at Preferred Care at Home®.

Being able to live at home can be one of most important comforts in a senior’s life. When you or someone you love reaches the crossroad of needing assistance with daily living, the decisions can be overwhelming. These decisions can be further compounded by long distance communication and uncertainty. Even tasks performed by local family members can be difficult. Given busy family and work schedules, family members may not have time to check in several times a day to ensure their loved one is doing well. It is for this reason Preferred Care at Home can make a dramatic difference in the lives of the clients we serve and is the reason why Vicki and I entered this field. We are genuinely proud and honored to assist families in providing the care they or a loved one need; to ensure a safe, secure and independent lifestyle at home.

In effort to provide the most outstanding care to clients, Sherman Gipson has successfully completed training to become a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). He is now among an elite society of professionals dedicated to senior health and welfare issues. Read more.

Also in the spirit of “giving back” Vicki Gipson has completed training with Hospice of the Valley and regularly volunteers at Hospice of the Valley Sherman Home, an in-patient facility, at the Mayo Hospital.
