“We Care For Those You Care About”
Many years ago, I was taught to have a deep appreciation for those special relationships with elderly family members and elderly persons in my neighborhood. Those relationships have influenced me in many ways over the years, and they continue to influence me to this day.
I pledge to provide affordable care that improves one’s quality of life, while safeguarding the client’s independence and dignity in the comfort and security of their own home, or wherever they call home. I hope to be a blessing to my clients and their families by offering reliable and compassionate home care.
The founders of Preferred Care at Home have over twenty-five years of experience in the home care industry. This experience, combined with Pam’s personal and professional experiences, provides a solid foundation on which to build this home care company in the Louisville and Oldham County area. Pam has always strived to be successful in whatever position she has held professionally. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology. She began her business experience working in the staffing industry and has additionally spent over 20 years working in business development and customer relations in the consumer goods industry. After becoming a mother, Pam considers herself fortunate to have been able to work for companies that gave her the flexibility to raise her children and maintain a balance in her family life. She is now eager to fulfill her dream of independence through the ownership of her own business and dedicate herself to improving the quality of life for her clients.
Pam’s family experience in her early years is the fuel of her passion behind Preferred Care at Home. As a teenager, Pam observed her mother’s care for Pam’s father when he suddenly became disabled. For almost fifteen years, her mother continued caring for her husband with compassion, love, and patience. “This instilled in me at a young age the importance of caring for family, and the compassion and love that goes into that role. I also gained an understanding of the desperate need for respite care for anyone that may be experiencing the stress of caring for their loved ones.”
Pam services the Louisville and Oldham County area. For more information on how Preferred Care at Home can better serve you or a loved one, or for a complimentary in-home evaluation, please contact Pam at 502-222-0018.
